Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy

Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy

In order to “contribute to people's prosperity and peace” as stated in our management philosophy, Nihon Kessho Kogaku will establish a management system for encouraging Responsible Minerals Sourcing in accordance with the “Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-affected and High-risk Areas” Appendix II established by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to ensure that the procurement of conflict minerals (tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold) are not a source of funding for armed groups and do not promote human rights violation or the worst forms of child labor.
Nihon Kessho Kogaku would like to ask our suppliers to endorse Responsible Minerals Sourcing and cooperate with the surveys and audits we conduct.
